In Redis Cloud, you can retrieve payment links, access invoices, and manage billing documents directly through the Customer Portal. This article covers how to locate the "Pay Now" link for unpaid invoices, view and download billing documents, resolve access issues, and understand invoice delivery for both card and wire payments. It also includes troubleshooting guidance and additional billing-related resources. See the Step-by-Step Instructions, Troubleshooting Common Issues, and Additional Contract and Consumption Details sections for quick help.
Depending on how your subscription is billed, payment details may appear differently between Redis Cloud and your cloud provider (such as AWS Marketplace). Always refer to your cloud provider's invoice for final billing totals when using marketplace billing.
Step-by-Step Instructions
Access the Customer Portal
Log in to your Redis Cloud Customer Portal using your account credentials.
Find the Billing Section
Navigate to the Billing & Payments page
On Billing History tab, you’ll see a list of current and past invoices. Here you can download the PDF of each payment
Look for the "Pay Now" Link
If there is an unpaid invoice:
A “Pay Now” button or payment link will appear next to the invoice.
Click the button to initiate a credit card payment.
If the link is missing, contact Support to generate a Stripe-based payment link manually.
Wire Transfer Information
For contracted accounts set up for wire transfers:
Payment instructions and banking details are included in the invoice email.
These invoices are auto-emailed to the billing contacts after each billing cycle.
Invoice email delivery
Invoice emails are controlled by billing contact settings in Redis Cloud.
To receive invoices automatically, make sure the recipient is added as a billing contact, typically with Billing Admin access and Billing Emails enabled.
Invoice delivery is managed through billing contact settings in Redis Cloud. Support is only needed if those settings are correct and invoices still are not received.
Monthly Usage Reports (for Contracts)
All contracted customers, including Marketplace contracts, receive a monthly consumption report automatically for the previous month’s usage.
Reports are sent to:
- Account admins
- Billing admins
- Any users with billing emails enabled
- Any email that is included in the RedisLabs email list
Additional Contract and Consumption Details
Contract details are visible in the Subscription Overview tab of the Redis Cloud console.
-
The Consumption Report provides visibility into both:
Current period usage
Total accumulated consumption from the start of the contract
Reports include both contract-wide and time-based breakdowns.
-
Contract credit usage is trackable at all levels:
Account
Contract
Subscription
Individual database
Marketplace contracts follow the same monthly reporting cadence as direct contracts.
-
Important: Contract functionality varies by provider.
Example: With AWS Marketplace, customers cannot purchase Essentials under an Essentials contract.
With Google Cloud Marketplace, the same contract does allow Essentials.
