Step-by-step
Request the entitlement transfer
- Contact your Redis Account Team or open a Support case requesting a Cloud Marketplace entitlement transfer to the target Billing Account ID.
- Provide: Order link/ID, target Billing Account ID, and the Redis Cloud account that must remain mapped.
- Refer to Google’s flow in Marketplace billing management if needed.
Provider coordination
- Redis coordinates with Google to transfer the Private Offer entitlement to the new Billing Account.
- No unsubscribe required; your existing Marketplace order remains Active during the transfer.
Confirm completion in Google Cloud
- GCP Console → Billing → Marketplace → Subscriptions → open your Redis order.
- Verify Status: Active under the new Billing Account and that Manage on provider is still available.
Validate mapping in Redis Cloud
- Redis Cloud Console → Billing & Payments shows Payment method = GCP Marketplace for the impacted subscriptions.
- If you manage multiple Redis Cloud accounts, confirm the expected account remains connected.
Verify
In Google Cloud
- Order Status: Active and associated with the target Billing Account.
- Manage on provider opens the expected Redis Cloud account.
In Redis Cloud
- Payment method = GCP Marketplace for the intended subscriptions.
- No unexpected switch to credit card billing.
Notes and Reminders
- Private Offers always move via entitlement transfer.
- If anything looks inconsistent after transfer, capture screenshots of the order, Billing Account IDs, and Redis Cloud Billing page and include them in a Support ticket for faster triage.
