Use this path for Redis Cloud subscriptions purchased as iSaaS On-Demand (PAYG) on Google Cloud Marketplace when you need to move charges to a different Google Cloud Billing Account. You’ll temporarily switch payment to a credit card, unsubscribe the current Marketplace order, resubscribe under the target Billing Account, and re-map the subscription in Redis Cloud. The data and endpoints remain unchanged, with the only difference being the billing source.
If you’re unsubscribing to the last Marketplace-mapped account on the tenant, review the unmapping rules and contract implications before proceeding.
Prerequisites
GCP IAM and Redis Cloud access as defined in the parent article.
-
Confirm your order type is On-Demand:
GCP Console → Billing → Marketplace → Subscriptions → Redis Cloud.
