How to flush your redis DB

The Redis Labs Team -

Many of our customers are using our service as their main database, and as such they care a lot about the safety of the data they store in their database.
Many of these customers raised their concern of having a risky operation such as flush available on the UI. This is the reason that we have decided to remove it from the UI.

To flush a database, you can still do it through your preferred client or just using the redis-cli command. Here is how to do it using redis-cli:

redis-cli -h <host> -p <port> -a <password> flushall

Example:

redis-cli -h redis-12345.cx.us-east-mz-x.ec2.cloud.redislabs.com -p 12345 -a xyz flushall
